ABOUT THE PANEL.

Carla Forbes

Business woman, Creative Director, Mentor and Owner of Market South, Publisher and mother of 4. Three times NZ  woman of influence finalist Southlands First female chair for the Chamber of Commerce a role she held for 3 terms  and she’s still an  active board member.

Carla is known for her  energy and active voice in the community; using her mad marketing skills to support Southland and Southland business.

Carla involved in numerous community trust and boards, she volunteers her time in  organisations for progression of our youth, she is a loud advocate for young woman – particularly woman in business. 

And she is a huge backer for Southland, believing our economic performance has a direct correlation to perception, she is therefore one of Southland’s loudest cheerleaders, and does what she can to support business – her mantra grow the pie, don’t fight over the piece.

Darren Craig

Darren Craig is the founder of Fully Charged Media, a digital growth agency based out of Queenstown, with clients around the globe. Darren is a specialist in digital assessments, strategy, paid advertising and data and analytics, laying the foundations for many businesses in the region and elsewhere, both large and small, and has a wide global network.

Fully Charged Media have worked with over 250 businesses throughout New Zealand and overseas and has spoken to thousands more via talks and webinars. Darren has over 20 years experience in tech and marketing after studying Computer Science and working as a developer, technical lead and architect for major online banking, investment banking, media and tourism companies such as Tesco Bank, RBS, Sky TV and Bank of America before moving into digital marketing and coaching.

Conrad Broad

After 10+ years experience of working as a Business Development Manager in the Hospitality Industry in Western Australia.

Conrad returned home to Invercargill and saw this as an opportunity to reconnect back to his creative side, opening up his freelance business 'The Custom Bubble' at the start of 2019. 
With a background in Graphic Design & Marketing from his studies at Otago University, Conrad has now brushed up on these skills, and has enjoyed honing back into his craft, working with a range of local SME businesses, startups and organizations. In his work he always aims to please through delivering the best design solution, which set's client off in the right path and connect to their audience.

Louise Evans

Lou is the Chief Activator at COIN South, and the Creative Director of Lemon Creative. She has previously written campaigns for NZ and Australia’s most loved brands including Ford, Xero, Jack Daniels, The Australian Defence Force, Tuatara and Nurofen. Fueled by ideas, Lou nerds out on copywriting, typography, and taxidermy. She’ll shout you coffee if you can find spelling mistakes on the website or in any COIN South publication. Proofreading is gangster.
