To celebrate Tech Week we are challenging you to spin to win with our Prompt to Pitch competition. An easy way to introduce you to the world of AI & ChatGPT. See full instructions and how to enter below.

- Visit our online wheel spinner and give it a spin to generate two random words.

- Use those words as inspiration to create a business idea and elevator pitch.

- Share your idea and pitch in the comments of our Facebook or Instagram post.

🏆 Our team of judges will announce one winner from each category: most innovative, most ridiculous and most feasible. There is a $50 voucher for the winner of each category.

How to use the spinner.

Click the link below to be taken to our spin to win site. Press the ‘spin’ button in the middle of the wheel to randomly be given your first word, then press it again to generate your second word.

Keep these two words aside. Next we will set you up on ChatGPT to be able to create your business idea using these two words.

How to use ChatGPT.

The site we have been using at COIN to generate content is https://chat.openai.com/ .

To use the site you will need to create an account and login. There is the option for a paid or free version. We have found the free version a great way to jump into this new technology and give it a go.

Enter a prompt in the text box at the bottom of the chat window. Kind of like you would if you were writing a text or Facebook messenger. You can ask a question, provide a statement, or anything else you want ChatGPT to respond to. We have written a list of prompts you might want to use as part of this competition below.

Once you've entered a prompt, click the ‘Send’ button or ‘Enter’ to submit it. ChatGPT will then generate a response based on your prompt. It may take a few seconds for ChatGPT to generate a response, so be patient.

Once ChatGPT has generated a response, you can continue the conversation by entering another prompt. You can ask follow-up questions, provide more information, or steer the conversation in a different direction.

What are these prompts you speak of?

Prompts are the questions, and statements that enables the chat to create the content you are after. The more specific your prompt the more specific of an answer you will get. A good framework for a prompt includes:

Prompts you could use for the competition:

-Act as an entrepreneur and come up with a business idea that includes [word one] and [word two].

-Using [word one] and [word two] create a [insert type of business] that solves the problem of [insert problem].

-Give me a start up business idea that uses [word one] and [word two]

-Act as an entrepreneur who is seeking [inset what your ask is. this could be funding, manufacturing companies, networks, or community support]. Write me an elevator pitch asking for this and focusing on [insert the business idea that the chat gave you.]

If you want to craft your own prompts for ChatGPT these are generally key points you want to include within your prompt.

- Act as a [insert profession/type of person/way of thinking]

Think about who you want the chat to be, do you want them to be a marketer, entrepreneur, famous business owner or celebrity.

- What task are you asking it to perform?

Give it details, who or what is this content for/what is the purpose of it. Be specific.

- Specifics/Who is it for

Who is the content you are generating targeted towards? A specific client audience?

- Output

How do you want the chat to present the data? In a table/bullet points/a certain word count?

- Follow up questions

If you work within the same chat window it will remember what it has written, meaning you can ask it to adapt what it has given you. You can ask it to shorten the text, rewrite to include certain points, give it to you in a different format. Just ask and you shall receive.
